Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Earn Access mobile application (“Earn Access” or the “App”) and related services provided by Hazcott Limited (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using Earn Access, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Use of the App
Earn Access is provided for personal, non-commercial use to help you manage distracting app usage through habits, earned access time, and intentional unlock flows. You agree to use the App only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of Earn Access at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Screen Time and Family Controls
Earn Access relies on Apple’s Screen Time and Family Controls APIs. You are responsible for granting, managing, and revoking permissions through your device settings. Functionality may vary depending on your device, iOS version, and Apple system behaviour.
We do not control Apple’s Screen Time infrastructure and are not responsible for changes Apple makes to these APIs or related system features.
Subscriptions
Earn Access Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features as described in the App and on our website. Subscription options, pricing, and included features may change and are displayed at the time of purchase through Apple.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
Billing and Cancellation
All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. You may also manage or cancel subscriptions via iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
Refunds and billing disputes are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s policies. We do not process refunds directly for App Store purchases.
Free trials or promotional offers, if available, will be described in the App at the time of offer and are subject to Apple’s terms.
No Guarantee of Behaviour Change
Earn Access is designed to support intentional screen time and personal discipline. Results vary by individual. We do not guarantee that you will reduce screen time, change habits, or achieve any particular outcome.
The App is a tool to assist your choices; it is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.
User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for how you use Earn Access, including the apps you choose to lock, habits you complete, and access you unlock. You acknowledge that bypassing or disabling Screen Time controls, or misusing earned access, is your responsibility.
You must ensure your use of the App does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App except where permitted by law;
- Use the App to harm, harass, or infringe the rights of others;
- Circumvent security, licensing, or subscription mechanisms;
- Use automated means to access the App in a manner that imposes unreasonable load on our systems;
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App without our written consent.
Intellectual Property
Earn Access, including its design, branding, content, and software, is owned by Hazcott Limited or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the App for personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Hazcott Limited and its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use Earn Access.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us for Earn Access Pro in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or GBP £10 if no such payment was made, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version. Material changes may be communicated in the App or on this website. Continued use of Earn Access after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
