This Privacy Policy describes how Hazcott Limited (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the Earn Access mobile application (“Earn Access” or the “App”) and this website. We are committed to minimising data collection and protecting your privacy.
By using Earn Access, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Information We Collect
Earn Access is designed to collect only the information reasonably necessary to operate the App. Depending on how you use Earn Access, this may include:
- Information you provide in the App, such as habit preferences, app selections, and settings you configure;
- Device and app usage information needed for core functionality, such as earned access time and lock/unlock state stored locally on your device;
- Subscription status information provided by Apple where needed to enable Earn Access Pro features;
- Support communications if you contact us directly.
We do not require you to create an account to use the core features of Earn Access, and we do not sell your personal data.
Screen Time and Family Controls
Earn Access uses Apple’s Screen Time and Family Controls APIs to allow you to select apps to block and manage access according to your choices. These permissions are requested and controlled by you through iOS.
Earn Access does not access or sell browsing history. Blocking and unlocking behaviour is managed through Apple’s on-device Screen Time framework in line with the permissions you grant. You can review or change Screen Time and related permissions at any time in your iPhone Settings.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Earn Access Pro and other in-app purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Apple may provide us with limited purchase-related information (such as subscription status) so we can deliver premium features.
Subscription management, billing, refunds, and cancellation are handled in accordance with Apple’s terms and your Apple account settings.
Data Storage
Much of the information used by Earn Access is stored locally on your device. Where data is transmitted, we aim to use appropriate technical measures and reputable service providers only where necessary for App operation, support, or legal compliance.
If you reset the App, local setup data within Earn Access may be cleared. Screen Time permissions remain under your control in iOS Settings unless you change them separately.
Analytics
We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand general App performance, stability, and feature usage. Any analytics we use are intended to be aggregated or de-identified where possible. Earn Access does not access browsing history, and we do not use analytics to sell personal data.
If we introduce additional analytics tools, we will update this policy as appropriate.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide and maintain Earn Access features, including habits, earned access, and app blocking workflows;
- Validate subscriptions and deliver Earn Access Pro functionality;
- Improve reliability, security, and user experience;
- Respond to support requests and legal obligations.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited information only where necessary:
- With service providers who assist us in operating the App (under confidentiality obligations);
- With Apple in connection with purchases and subscription status;
- Where required by law, regulation, or legal process;
- To protect the rights, safety, and security of users, Hazcott Limited, or others.
User Controls
You remain in control of your experience:
- Manage Screen Time and Family Controls permissions in iOS Settings;
- Manage or cancel subscriptions via iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions;
- Reset Earn Access setup within the App where that option is available;
- Contact us with questions or requests regarding your information.
Children
Earn Access is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or on this website where appropriate. Continued use of Earn Access after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
